A Quiet Place for an Off-Season Getaway

                  5 of 5
We were warmly greeted by Nicole and Rich when we arrived, and they assured us they'd get us anything we needed, and they did. The Sail Loft is spacious (we were two for part of the week, one for the balance) and the pullout sofa pretty comfortable. We found the kitchen had everything we needed, the whole place was spotless, and there was ample closet space. Access to the shoreline (I wouldn't call it a beach) was a bit dicey, as rain left the path soggy, but the beach was not a priority for me anyway. The location was perfect for the ferry to Monhegan Island and trips to Rockland, Rockport and Camden, where there are a variety of restaurants, shops, galleries and museums. Dining in Port Clyde is fairly limited to fried seafood, chowder and lobster; but the seafood is impeccably fresh. We appreciated the WIFI. I would definitely recommend the Sail Loft; it was exactly as advertised.

                  Beautiful, Peaceful, Comfortable and Entertaining~!

Our family of 6 completely enjoyed ourselves in your home. We rented kayaks for the week and enjoyed ourselves so much paddling the surrounding waters, watching the seals and exploring Alley island that we didn't make it to Acadia park until the following week. Which, by the way, is stunning! My 6 y/o son asked for his birthday if we could go back to Maine...and this was after we completed our 12 hour drive home. I would be happy to oblige him~! Thank you and we hope to come back again soon.

                  Charming and Welcoming

                  5 of 5
My daughters and I stayed at Cloud Nine and fell in love with the place. It is artfully decorated yet cozy and comfortable. The hosts are very helpful and low key. We loved the outdoor shower and beautiful yard. We had one of the nicest vacations in Maine there and have already booked for next year.
