BEAUTIFUL, PEACEFUL COTTAGE

5 of 5
We just had a very relaxing vacation week staying at the cottage. The weather was perfect and my wife and three girls (7,4 and 2) had a wonderful time. The beach is a very short walk from the cottage which makes it easy with kids as we could run back and forth to grab lunch, use the bathroom, etc. As the beach is for the association use only most days we were the only family there - we did get the opportunity to meet some of the other cottage owners in the association who were extremely nice and hospitable. At night my girls had a great time chasing fireflies and sitting by the fire pit making s'mores. After the kids went down, my wife and i would sit on the deck and enjoy a couple of drinks while enjoying the view of the lake - definitely need a little bug spray as you'd expect but overall not too bad. We did take a couple of day trips to both Storyland (about an hour and 5 minutes) and to Santa's Village (about an hour and 50 minutes)...not exactly close by but still a manageable scenic car ride that the kids did enjoy. My wife was very pleased with the cleanliness of the cottage and also to find all the necessities in the kitchen. Most nights we would eat out on the deck which the kids really enjoyed as well. Overall a very relaxing week and we were very pleased with the property and beach. Well worth the price and i would definitely recommend.

BEAUTIFUL SPOT!

4 of 5
Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, spacious home on Crescent Lake. We're not an outdoorsy bunch, so we spent a lot of time reading, grilling and just hanging out on the private dock. We picked strawberries in nearby Oxford and made easy day trips to Acadia National Park and Freeport. The lake is busy during the day (there's a sleepover kids camp next door) but incredibly tranquil at night under all the stars. We had an issue with the new dishwasher on a Sunday morning, and Matt had his handyman out to fix it just a few hours later. We're not rating this a five only because it was unseasonably hot during our stay, and the home got pretty warm on a couple of the days. But we made some nice family memories.

A GREAT WEEKEND WITH FRIENDS

5 of 5
It was our first time staying at Fabienne's home on Panther Pond and we will definitely be back! The house was beautiful, the amenities were terrific (we loved the different boats, fire pit, games and more), and Fabienne, the owner, is a pleasure to work with. She gave us a great orientation when we arrived and was available via email or phone if we had any questions throughout the weekend. The water near the docks was very clean, but had lots of weeds...however, the nearby beach was goregous and was only a short paddle away (which to us was part of the fun!). The house is great for whatever you are looking for - a weekend with friends, a week-long vacation with family, or a couples get-away. We can't wait to return!
