Wonderful stay in Rangeley ME

5 of 5
My family spent 5 days at Haley Hideaway in November 2014. Our stay was exceptional. The house was clean, beautiful and there was tons of well-organized information and lots of extras. The view of the lake was gorgeous and relaxing. We could not have asked for a nicer stay - the owner was great about getting back to us and sending us tons of information and help. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

A gorgeous and rustic retreat . . again!

I returned for a second time to Loon Cottage this year and was not disappointed. The cottage was immaculately clean, the kitchen was even better equipped (I actually prepared a complete Greek meal for friends and had no problem doing so with the set up there). Turkeys, deer, moose, loons, sunny fall weather and a secluded cottage on the lakefront . . . the perfect getaway for a personal retreat or couple's vacation! This is my go-to place!

This is a nice cabin well appointed with plenty of dry firewood for the fire, which was appreciated. There were a few housekeeping issues that we experienced with our stay that the owner took care of - I appreciated his desire to make sure any issues were resolved. The cabin is very convenient to Rangeley. If that is important to you, then this cabin is for you. If utter privacy is important, this may not be the cabin for you and you may want to stay further away from town. Although you can't really tell from the pictures, it is a little neighborhood of cabins, each a few hundred feet apart, and there is a cabin directly in front of this one - so you do get a view of the lake from the cabin, but you also get a view of the other cabin.
