Great for a quiet vacation

4 of 5
Very accommodating. The pictures are very up to date on what to expect to see. Unfortunately the mosquitoes made it a little unpleasant, but we were warned to bring bug spray with us after we booked. I would also suggest providing at least the town upfront, as we were looking at Portland and after having to state we were interested in renting were then told the address. I am hoping it was the time of year we came. We arrived late on Friday night, and they made sure to have all the lights on for us so we did not have to stumble in the dark. Great big spot lights at the front and the back of the cottage was nice to have. I definitely would come back again.

Wonderful Couples Retreat

4 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our couple's retreat at SpruceLedge. The location is an easy drive from bike rides to Popham Beach, Port Clyde, and Wiscassett as well as only 45 min from the Coastal Maine Botanical gardens near Boothbay. We ate most of our dinners overlooking the spectacular views, enjoying the pleasing privacy the location provides. The well equipped cabin is a treat to live in as one appreciates the careful thought that went into the design and the superb workmanship that executed it.

Great vacation destination.

5 of 5
Couldn't rave enough about my stay at Ocean Watch. The setting is incredibly beautiful - from sunrise to sunset. Really a magical view. The simple accommodations are comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is nicely stocked, but spent most of my cooking on the grill. Mid coast Maine is very beautiful, and there's not a better seat to view this beauty than Ocean Watch. And the folks at Homes and Harbors couldn't be nicer or more helpful.
