Safe, Secure, Spacious, SPECTACULAR!

5 of 5
Upon arrival, the condo was immaculate! It's spacious with a GREAT fully equipped kitchen and living room, overlooking Congress Street. Festive, Fun, Mexican restaurant next door you can skip to, really hopping place with fantastic food and tasty Margaritas! The condo lends itself nicely to visitors who want to spend some leisure time where they hang their hats, in addition to just having a safe, roomey place to crash in the evenings. For cooking or entertaining lovers, this would be ideal! Get your game on with cutting boards, multiple utensils, plateware, modern appliances (except for cheap frying pans) and storage space for groceries, galore! The kitchen is small, lie a galley but plenty of space that opens up into a combined dining & living area, if you want to invite company in for dinner, there is ample room. The air conditioning works well, especially in steamy August but makes continuing loud noises, on and off 24/7. The beds leave a little to be desired, need new mattresses .Open ceiling plan from kitchen area into Master bedroom is a problem for light sleepers but otherwise, bedrooms are nice with ample closet space, adequately furnished and bathroom is roomy and includes tub with shower. Overall, the condo is SUPERB with ideal location! And walking distance to attractions and great restaurants/bars. Portlanders are very friendly people! I only know Bangor to compare it to and I would be very happy to return to Portland if this condo was available again.

Perfect in Portland

5 of 5
We spent two spectacular months in this beautiful apartment on the Eastern Promenade in Portland. The location was outstanding and we even had a lovely view of Casco Bay. As we love to walk and run we found trails just outside our door going in every direction. Downtown Portland and the Old Port are an easy 15 minute walk (also a Whole Foods and Trader Joe's about a mile away). The apartment was modern, clean, and comfortable. Every detail was seen to. Between it and the hospitality of Trevor and Joe we were very much at home. All the family and friends who visited us while we were in Portland loved the apartment and being here. It's high on our list for a return visit.
