                  Great location, attractive condo, well-equipped

                  5 of 5
Enjoyed our visit very much. Great location, walked almost everywhere. Took the trolley tour, then returned to the Portland Head Light (lighthouse) to take pictures & walk. Took the ferry to Peaks Island, walked all around, then enjoyed the end of season pig roast at the Inn. Also took the ferry to Diamond Cove for a great dinner. Took a side trip to Bar Harbor (3 hour drive each way, but well worth it -stayed overnight at the Bar Harbor Regency Hotel, with an ocean view). Ate at Jordan Pond, then walked around it (3 miles). Also walked all over Cadillac Mountain. Returned to Portland to walk the East Promenade, and visited numerous places along Commercial Dr., Congress St. and Exchange St. And enjoyed Whole Foods - the largest one we've ever been in. Rented this condo for 8 nights. Great visit!

                  Perfect in Portland

                  5 of 5
We spent two spectacular months in this beautiful apartment on the Eastern Promenade in Portland. The location was outstanding and we even had a lovely view of Casco Bay. As we love to walk and run we found trails just outside our door going in every direction. Downtown Portland and the Old Port are an easy 15 minute walk (also a Whole Foods and Trader Joe's about a mile away). The apartment was modern, clean, and comfortable. Every detail was seen to. Between it and the hospitality of Trevor and Joe we were very much at home. All the family and friends who visited us while we were in Portland loved the apartment and being here. It's high on our list for a return visit.

Location, parking, amenities, quiet, great owner!!

                  5 of 5
If you have an appreciation for tasteful, comfortable amenities, and want someplace not generic, tiny box apartment, where you can actually do more than sleep, like-entertain! or hang out, Tony and Deb's place is for you. Spacious, quiet, parking (small-ish), a private laundry/yoga room, and huge, full, kitchen and common rooms. Very high ceilings. Fantastic, private screened gazebo in back, then parking right in driveway, off South St! This home is in a real brownstone, OLD, tree-lined, brick side-walked, neighborhood where you can enjoy a families BBQ, then walk 2 minutes to Congress St and have fancy happy hour tapas, walk a block and fill your tank and junk food needs at the gas station or 7-11. Gourmet deli, awesome Thai food. Funky coffee shops, it reminded us of three towns we lived in and love: Ann Arbor, MI, San Francisco, and our beloved town now, the Other Portland, in Oregon. Had 2 gentle dtrs (9,13) with us, they used the two long, luxurious couches (silk, down?!), plus there's a great foam fold out bed/couch. It could work for a close and not exceedingly private foursome, or a couple needing to have lots of space and privacy, or one or two gentle kids (there's nice artwork). Very unique step down, deep jacuzzi tub, with a great shower. WiFi good, AC in bedroom terrific, ceiling fans perfect even in 85 degree heat wave. Tony very responsive to questions, and lots of great literature on area. Yeah, it may be becoming a little gentrified, but in a good way, I am sure. We all walked ALOT, at night, and it really felt safe. We are intrepid and friendly, and used to big city funky folks. We'll be back, for sure. (we even got cleaning fee returned, very decent!)dee
