Wonderful house in beautiful Port Clyde

5 of 5
We stayed at the Port Clyde Cottage this past July and had a fantastic time. Karan and Gerry are excellent hosts and were on hand to answer questions and recommend restaurants, fishing spots, and fun activities. We loved being in the village of Port Clyde where we could walk to the ice-cream shop, the general store and the lobster pound. There is also the cutest bar located in a red barn, accessible by walking across the back lawn, and open from 4:00-8:00 Thursday through Sunday. It was a perfect spot to grab a drink after a day of hiking on Monhegan or swimming at Drift Inn Beach. Port Clyde is definitely a hidden gem! The house is centrally located in the village with beautiful views from the back deck and docks. The house is so livable! There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes, games, toys and anything else you could need to make you feel at home. We had great ping pong tournaments in the game room and lobster boils on the dock. We hated to leave and can't wait to go back!

Perfect Vacation Cottage...

5 of 5
We recently enjoyed a long weekend in this charming vacation cottage and it was absolutely perfect! It is simply beautiful inside and out as well as immaculate and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable vacation. The beach is just a few steps away and we spent much of our time sitting on the inviting and well furnished porch enjoying the ocean view. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for the ideal vacation spot....you will not be disappointed! Gail and Bob Ruberti

Longing to go back

5 of 5
The cottage is absolutely charming, the sunsets are front and center. We were able to bring our dog and had several guests join us over the 2 week period. There is much to do in the area but our guests asked to stay in and just relax. I love the rustic outdoor shower, others chose to use the indoor facilities. We visited Monhegan, shopped in Port Clyde and elsewhere, went to several restaurants, fancy and plain, there is a wonderful beach nearby not to mention the lighthouse, and Rockland is my favorite Maine almost-city. Don't miss the Farnsworth Museum, even if you don't get a rainy day. Getting into the water from the dock in front of the cottage is not as easy as you might want, you must watch the tide and plan accordingly. I love this part of Maine and haven't found a place to stay that is better. I am dreaming of returning soon.
