PERFECTION

5 of 5
This home was exactly what we were looking for. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The property is gorgeous and well kept. We loved the intimacy of Port Clyde and the friendly vibe of the folks there. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to check out in comfort and enjoy the beauty of Maine.

AMAZING TIME AT THE SANDY BEACH-DRIFT INN COTTAGE

5 of 5
August of 2013 was our second stay at this enchanting cottage. The cottage, the grounds, the amazing views of the ocean and steps to the sandy beach made for a perfect vacation for us. The cottage is beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious, both inside and out. Simply perfect...can't wait to go back in 2014! Ellen and Tom McDermott

LONGING TO GO BACK

5 of 5
The cottage is absolutely charming, the sunsets are front and center. We were able to bring our dog and had several guests join us over the 2 week period. There is much to do in the area but our guests asked to stay in and just relax. I love the rustic outdoor shower, others chose to use the indoor facilities. We visited Monhegan, shopped in Port Clyde and elsewhere, went to several restaurants, fancy and plain, there is a wonderful beach nearby not to mention the lighthouse, and Rockland is my favorite Maine almost-city. Don't miss the Farnsworth Museum, even if you don't get a rainy day. Getting into the water from the dock in front of the cottage is not as easy as you might want, you must watch the tide and plan accordingly. I love this part of Maine and haven't found a place to stay that is better. I am dreaming of returning soon.
