Staying here over and over, year after year

5 of 5
We are staying at this property with a bunch of friends year over year for 4 years. This would be the fifth year, that we're going to rent this house again. I have to say, the house was working great for us so far. The management is top-notch. For example, during one of our stays we experienced a typical north-eastern snowstorm, with an enormous amount of snow covering just about every road in the area into a snowfield and collapsing some power lines. The management was still able to plow the road to the house and help us with starting emergency generators. Their effort made our stay even in that kind of weather quite enjoyable.

Everything we hoped for....and more!

5 of 5
What a wonderful place! We consider ourselves to be "newbies" to this whole vacation rental experience...and yet it was so easy. My first impression of Cozy Cottage when I saw it in the listings was "how clean this looks"...and it did not disappoint in real life. I must confess though...I spent most of my time in that chair in the picture, just watching the lake, the loons and the views. Joy was so very accommodating and flexible even with my last minute decisions. When they suggest getting your supplies on the way in...listen to them....The dirt road in is rough as they state...but ...it is so worth it. We plan to go back again...soon I hope. As we went in the off-season it was quiet, very quiet - just what we were looking for. I would give 4 1/2 stars.

Perfect getaway in ideal location!

Dear Pam and Drew, It was such a pleasure to meet you and Drew. You're such a wonderful couple! You thought of everything and it was an ideal place to relax and enjoy with friends. We truly appreciate your flexibility and consideration in allowing us to leave later than our schedule departure time and waiting for us as we (frantically) cleaned the cottage. On the way back, the entire group kept talking about how kind you both were and what wonderful hosts you are. We played tennis, made some bbq (two nights) and spent two nights sitting outside next to fire until the early hours of the morning. All in all- we had a fantastic trip. We had so much fun! We also had a little graduation dinner party for our two friends. We went to Polly's convenience store (5 min drive from the cottage, great bbq chicken pizza!) to get some decorations but since they didn't have any, they told us to go to Walmart. To our splendid surprise it was only a 5 minute drive. We had no idea and it was great because it was so close to the cottage. We rented a boat for the day from the Marina and it was a great experience (we were so lucky, the weather was amazing that day- sunny and warm). We also went to Portland and then spent a few hours on Peaks Island (you can catch a ferry from Portland) which was an ideal place to spend a Sunday afternoon. We also used the beach passes you provided. Thank you very much for organizing that. Thank you once again for all your help planning this trip. We hope to return one day soon! Best wishes, Amena
