          Beachside Perfection!

          5 of 5
This "apartment" was wonderful. So homey and comfortable, you forget your on the second floor. Beautifully landscaped yard. The fenced in private back yard with grill and picnic table was great. Multiple decks with one overlooking the beach. The private path to the beach was literally 20 yards to the sand. Immaculately kept, quiet, and practically beachfront. Owners were great. Loved this place:)

          Quiet, well-situated, & comfortable

Literally 40 steps the beach, we enjoyed the convenience of being able to go to the beach daily without it being a big process. At the beach we found some nice, large shells, sand dollars and there are lots of hermit & rock crabs to be found. We already have plans to stay here again next summer. The property was just as described. We stayed in suite 3 and enjoyed the ocean view and sound of the waves. It was clean, well-maintained and well-stocked with everything advertised. Peter and Meryl were great hosts. We saw them a couple times during our week there and they were always friendly and offered area knowledge and suggestions for things to do and the best times to do them. Their communication in preparation for our stay was clear and helpful. The location made it easy to make trips north to parks, forts and museums in Portland and Cape Elizabeth as well as south to Kennebunkport for sightseeing. There is a nice Hannaford store about 4-5 minutes away and several local seafood shops nearby. The pier was about a 10 minute walk with my 4yo and Pirate's Cove is a little closer. It was our first trip to OOB and I think we really lucked out in finding as perfect a place to stay as I could have hoped for - we plan to make this an annual vacation.

          Truly comfortable

Barb is such a sincere acommadating host, I felt as if I met a relative when I met her. We felt very safe and shielded from the hub bub of the pier yet walked a few blocks and found all the restaurants and excitement we needed. The ocean is barely a few steps and you hear it all night and by day. You really do see the ocean from all the windows unobstructed. Eating breakfest in the sunny kitchen overlooking the ocean was my favorite. I am normally go go go but the place was so comfy I dragged my feet and just hung out with my kids. The kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to make meals in, the fridge new and clean and the place was clean. I would definetly stay here again.
