Amazing Ogunquit Get Away

5 of 5
Our family stayed at this property for a week in July. The house was even more beautiful than pictured online. The living area and kitchen boast amazing decorations in a wide open space for everyone to sit and relax. The outside is landscaped to perfection so we could sit and enjoy the summer nights. The house is close enough to enjoy morning walks on Marginal Way or evening shopping trips to Perkins Cove. There is also a trolley stop close enough to bring you into Town. The property manager checked in on us to ensure that we had everything that we needed. We have nothing but love for this property ... it created amazing vacation memories for our family and we are thrilled to enjoy it again in 2015. - The Perry Family

Pinch Yourself to Make Sure it's Not a Dream!

5 of 5
This apartment is A-MAZ-ING. My family and I literally pinched ourselves every time we walked through the living room and saw that incredible view. Tastefully, comfortably furnished with comfortable beds and living area. Well-equipped kitchen, although we only ate breakfast in. It seemed to have everything you would need to prepare a complete meal. Located over a coffee shop, we did hear some loud music after the shop closed when they were cleaning up, but it didn't last long and was never at an obscene hour, so it was not a problem at all. In fact, other than that, the apartment was truly quiet. An easy flight of stairs leads to the upstairs apartment where one entire wall of floor to ceiling windows faces the cove. What the picture shows, is exactly what you get - an unbelievable million-dollar view. Other than seeing a handful of houses or apartments on either side, and the Marginal Way a short distance from the apartment, you might think you are entirely alone on the edge of the water. There is no street noise, but when you walk outside the front door and turn to go downstairs, you see you are right on the edge of the bustling little Perkins Cove business and restaurant loop. It was fun to walk to Footbridge Lobster and bring back lobster rolls for lunch. Or just run downstairs and bring back an incredible dessert. It was hard to reconcile the quiet, peaceful view with the actual location. If I had the funds available, I would book this apartment for next year immediately. Only for a longer period of time - we truly did not want to leave. And while we love the area and always enjoy visiting our favorite haunts, we would've been completely happy never leaving this apartment. It was THAT private, comfortable, peaceful, rejuvenating. We have been coming to visit Ogunquit/Perkins Cove regularly for around twenty years now, usually staying right on the Marginal Way in the best inns available and this is, by far, the best place we have ever stayed. Words truly cannot describe. The realtor was great to work with. Very accommodating and easily reached for questions. Just an incredible experience. Cannot wait to go back. Do yourself a favor and book this jewel on the edge of the ocean.

Would definitely return!

5 of 5
Friendly owners! Clean house, with plenty of room for all of us (5 adults, 5 children) and we didn't even use one of the beds. Two of the bedrooms are very private, with separate entrances. We liked the location because it was a short walk to the beach, right near the trolley station, next door to an amazing authentic pizza restaurant, and there are no visible neighbors. There were many beach toys available, including boogie boards, shovels, pails, ping pong, kiddy pool, a beach cart, and large wagon. The screened in patio was lovely. The only thing I would have liked is a bigger common area where all of us could easily eat dinner inside. However, we ate outside or in the screened- in area most of the time anyway, and I didn't feel I should remove a star from my rating because of it. Summary: a cute, inviting house. A bit narrow for congregating groups, but certainly not a deal-breaker. We had a lovely vacation, and would definitely rent the house again.
