THE PERFECT BLENDED FAMILY VACATION!

5 of 5
The Pine Lodge was as advertised, and photos do not do it justice. There were 25 of us: 8 families, ages 4 to 76 years. Even if confined to the Lodge for the week, no one would be bored, what with the huge game room, closet of games, heated pool, hot tub, baby grand piano, huge flat screen TV (so busy we watched only 2 World Cup Games). Enough room for anyone to find a quiet nook if needed. Phenomenal view of Saturday Cove, especially over an a.m. cup of coffee on the deck off the kitchen (alternatively, a glass of wine in the same spot early evening). The Lodge was beautifully maintained and clean as a whistle, with Terra, Don and family readily available if needed. The kitchen was fabulous... huge commercial refrigerator, Wolf gas stove, lots of counter space, dining room to seat 20 and large round kitchen table "for the kids." I'm rambling, but only because we had such a wonderful experience here!Add enormous fire pit (great for making S'mores!) to sit watching the more fit and younger of us play volleyball until dark..... Activities enjoyed, in no particular order: families taking turns cooking meals, board games, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, Cellardoor Winery tour and tasting, discovering Belfast (Chocolate Drop doe ice cream and candy; used book store around the corner) and Camden (coffee at Zola, harbor cruise, dinner at Cappy's Chowder House, Russell's of Camden handmade jewelry).. we did it all and loved every minute. Perhaps the highlight of our stay was the Lobster Bake, also provided by Terra, Don, and family... so much more than we expected (a few fun lawn games at the beginning) and a beautifully choreographed meal. We will never forget it! We highly recommend The Pine Lodge or family reunions, weddings, any large gathering. You won't be disappointed!

PERFECT GETAWAY!!!! A SLICE OF HEAVEN.

5 of 5
Wonderful, quiet and clean red cottage. Everything you need for a wonderful stay and more. Early morning on the deck with coffee was just splendid. Walter met us upon our arrival and was very helpful, thank you. The cabin is close to many of the wonderful areas to visit in the area. A great visit and most likely will return.

THE PERFECT COTTAGE IN THE PERFECT LOCATION!

5 of 5
It was our first visit Downeast and we couldn’t have dreamed of a better week. We loved everything about our cottage – it was so cozy and inviting, offered terrific views of the ocean and was mere steps away from a fabulous shore where our children never tired of searching for sea treasures. When we managed to drag them away, we visited Fort Knox in Prospect, beachcombed at Owl’s Head State Park, discovered lovely Belfast, relaxed at Lincolnville down by the shore with friendly neighbours. We found it very difficult to leave but look forward to a two-week stay next Summer. Regarding restaurants…We can’t wait to go back to Belfast for Darby’s best-ever clam chowder and the wonderful fresh produce at Chase’s Daily. Chez Michel in Lincolnville has a terrific menu with wonderful friendly service and the buttery lobster rolls at the Lobster Pound are delicious. Enjoying ice cream at the scenic River Duck bridge and seafood at Cappy’s, overlooking Camden’s gorgeous harbour, are a must! We would highly recommend this rental - the cottage, the location and the owner are fabulous! Jennifer, John and children (7 and 9 year old) from Montreal
