WOW!!!

5 of 5
I've rented many vacation homes over the years and can honestly say that The Maine Ski House was the best vacation rental experience I have ever had. The communication far exceeded expectations. Paula was incredibly responsive and provided a great deal of information and helpful tips. The home is spectacular, it is spotless and beautifully appointed and unique. It has every comfort of home and then some, with special features including the game room, hot tub, bar and treasure hunt. It's located in a beautiful development only 3 minutes from Sunday River. The home and rental experience was perfect from start to finish. I cannot wait to go back!! Long story short, I could not more highly recommend this home.

Great slopeside home

5 of 5
My family along with wife's brother and kids (4 adults, 6 children total) stayed here for three nights after Christmas and loved the home. It is a short walk to the slopes and we skied to the lifts in the morning and home for lunch and at the end of the day. The bedrooms are a good size, clean, comfortable, and the "bunk" room upstairs was great for the kids. The kitchen and dining area are large, and the kitchen is very well appointed--not like a rental unit at all, very much someone's home. The downstairs game room was a great space for the kids as well. The owner was incredibly helpful before and during our stay, overall a great experience.

Gorgeous, Comfortable Chalet

5 of 5
My wife, children, and myself loved this place the moment we walked in, and it lived up to its initial impression for our four-night stay. The living room, with its high ceilings, is spacious and bright. There is electric heat as well as an efficient and attractive wood stove. Fans on the ceiling bring the warm air back down to the floor. The kitchen is well-equipped. Our children enjoyed sleeping all together in the large bedroom upstairs, which contains four bunk beds. The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived. All appliances and utilities worked perfectly. At night, it was quiet and peaceful. Its location opposite the Roadrunner trail is ideal.
