Sunday River Spectacular

5 of 5
We could not have been more pleased with our stay at this property in September. This new home had everything you could ask for in a rental. Plenty of room, separate TV viewing areas, adults and kids can view different programs in different areas. The ping pong and soccer (?) tables were a lot of fun. The deck over looking a river in the back was very relaxing area to share a beverage or a steak on the grill. At this time of year, I came to play golf and do some exploring. The Sunday River golf course has to be one of the best in New England. Fantastic layout! The hot tub underneath the aforementioned deck provided a very relaxing remedy to the many swings I took on the golf course and the local hikes we took in the area. Writing this I'm searching for anything we disliked, were uncomfortable with etc. This new home has everything we could ask for; it was well equipped, very comfortable and we're coming back for some skiing!!!!

Great friends getaway!

We recently rented this home for 7 couples all in our late 20's early 30's and really enjoyed it! The home was exactly what we were looking for - warm and inviting, but not extra fancy and expensive. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed - the only thing we needed to get was food for the weekend. There is a grocery store located 8 miles away and was very convenient! The house is private and has lots of land surrounding it, but is only 10 minutes from the full amenities of Sunday River. An added bonus was the fantastic sauna! We used the sauna everyday we were there and it was particularly nice after a long day of skiing! We would recommend this house to anyone looking to entertain a mid-sized group or that has a family with little ones. We look forward to staying again next year. Thank you!

Secluded----but not lost in the wilderness.

Easy access to what western Maine has to offer. I can see why skiers would love this location although my family rented it in June. Newly constructed chalet with lovely rustic interior. Shaded by an oak, maple and pine forest, this house provides all the amenities for two or three families on a northern New England getaway----fully furnished kitchen, washer/dryer, two-and-a-half baths, tv, rec room with pool table and fussball. It was a perfect anchor for our many excursions.
