          Perfect relaxing getaway house

          5 of 5
This is a beautiful, spacious, modern house with all the amenities that can comfortably accommodate a lot of people or just a couple while still providing a cozy feel. The two of us stayed over an extended Labor Day weekend and felt so at home. We enjoyed grilling on the deck ,hot-tubbing under the stars and checking out the river that flows below the property. We also took advantage of kayaking in the sandy bottom Androscoggin River (put in at the Hanover Boat Launch). Great to kayak against the current for a start, and then just ride the current home while enjoying the views. Clear water provided for lovely swimming. We hiked the Rumford White Cap Preserve Trail and enjoyed amazing 360o views from the summit and chomped on wild blueberries. Mtn Biking at Sunday River was a blast! We had a wonderful time and are pretty sad it is over.

          Great friends getaway!

          4 of 5
We recently rented this home for 7 couples all in our late 20's early 30's and really enjoyed it! The home was exactly what we were looking for - warm and inviting, but not extra fancy and expensive. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed - the only thing we needed to get was food for the weekend. There is a grocery store located 8 miles away and was very convenient! The house is private and has lots of land surrounding it, but is only 10 minutes from the full amenities of Sunday River. An added bonus was the fantastic sauna! We used the sauna everyday we were there and it was particularly nice after a long day of skiing! We would recommend this house to anyone looking to entertain a mid-sized group or that has a family with little ones. We look forward to staying again next year. Thank you!

Secluded----but not lost in the wilderness.

Easy access to what western Maine has to offer. I can see why skiers would love this location although my family rented it in June. Newly constructed chalet with lovely rustic interior. Shaded by an oak, maple and pine forest, this house provides all the amenities for two or three families on a northern New England getaway----fully furnished kitchen, washer/dryer, two-and-a-half baths, tv, rec room with pool table and fussball. It was a perfect anchor for our many excursions.
