Breathtaking, secluded, yet close to everything

5 of 5
Some warm and welcoming. The owners went above and beyond - when we arrived the house late Sunday evening we found the refrigerator had eggs, OJ, milk, Maine Jam (blueberry and raspberry), bread and coffee. What a nice treat so we did not have to get up and hurry in the morning to go into town and eat or shop. Our family (2 college boys, my husband and I) had a relaxing time - great views. The owners also were so kind to give us some great tips on places to see and things to do. A definite place to stay!!

Perfect Location = Perfect Vacation

5 of 5
We rented this house for a recent reunion of college friends in town for a wedding. It was the perfect spot not only to explore town (a quick 5-minute walk away) and the surroundings (beach an even closer 2-minute walk), but to relax on the porch and catch up with our friends. Janey, the property manager, was a breeze to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend this relaxing, beautiful spot!

Wonderful house in beautiful Port Clyde

5 of 5
We stayed at the Port Clyde Cottage this past July and had a fantastic time. Karan and Gerry are excellent hosts and were on hand to answer questions and recommend restaurants, fishing spots, and fun activities. We loved being in the village of Port Clyde where we could walk to the ice-cream shop, the general store and the lobster pound. There is also the cutest bar located in a red barn, accessible by walking across the back lawn, and open from 4:00-8:00 Thursday through Sunday. It was a perfect spot to grab a drink after a day of hiking on Monhegan or swimming at Drift Inn Beach. Port Clyde is definitely a hidden gem! The house is centrally located in the village with beautiful views from the back deck and docks. The house is so livable! There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes, games, toys and anything else you could need to make you feel at home. We had great ping pong tournaments in the game room and lobster boils on the dock. We hated to leave and can't wait to go back!
