Amazing break!

5 of 5
I went with my friends for our Spring Break to relax and work on our thesis outside of the stressful college environment. This cottage was nothing but perfect. Amy was helpful every step of the way and we felt welcomed and cozy the entire stay. Even though it was very cold outside, the cottage had enough entertainment (tv, games, books) and a great view that we didn't mind staying in most of the time. The supermarket is also just a short drive away so we got to do a lot of potluck cooking, too. We will definitely come back again and recommend it to everyone (and yes, even during cold months!).

Perfect getaway - you will love it!!!

5 of 5
We are a young couple from Boston and we were looking for a quiet, peaceful and lonesome place to spend the Thanksgiving weekend. And we were so lucky to find exactly that! The cabin is just wonderful, it is situated right at the ocean exactly as the picture shows - but it is even more beautiful than any pictures could tell! We had an amazing time there - we went hiking or on excursions during the day and spent the evening reading, puzzling (you will find some games and puzzles in the cabin, too) or talking while enjoying a cup of tea and Audrey's delicious cookies by the fireside! Though it was pretty cold, the fireplace made the cabin a warm and very cozy place. If you don't mind doing without the luxury of running water for a couple of days and you are looking for a cozy cabin in a wonderful location - this is exactly the place you should go! Audrey and Richard are the most lovely hosts that will try everything to make you feel even more comfortable (which you doubtlessly will anyway). Thank you both again for letting us stay in your cabin! If we have a chance to come back we definitely will!!!

Peace and quiet, fresh air, the beauty of nature!

5 of 5
Aahhhh! We enjoyed peace and quiet, fresh air, and the beauty of nature. The fall foliage colors were evident from all windows, and especially from the large, wrap around deck where I sipped my morning coffee as the mist rose off the river. The beautiful home was exceedingly well-maintained and clean, with all the amenities we needed, and spacious enough for our large family (5 kids). There were plenty of places to walk and explore, from the house and within easy driving distance. We climbed Mt. Megunticook, and visited nearby beaches. We loved our stay, and would highly recommend this comfortable home to other families.
