Sunrise at the little red cabin

4 of 5
Just a lovely spot ! Quiet, private and off the beaten path but an easy drive to all area attractions Perfect getaway for you and your loved one to unwind and breathe the sea air. Cabin is small but clean , well kept and has everything you need . The deck makes morning coffee a real treat and sipping a glass of wine in the evening sublime. You can't beat the view! Walter, the owner, is friendly and helpful . Two small things would make this place perfect; a newer, firmer mattress and a quick trim of the foliage in front of the deck to improve the view. In short; we will be back next Summer!

Quaint Cottage-Style Apartment

5 of 5
Arrived to a quaint, Maine Coastal décor with antique touches. Very vintage style with basic amenities. Beautiful deck views. It was close to road but not much traffic, it was warm some days without air conditioning but I guess most places do not have it. The apartment is attached to the home which we didn't realize above the garage but privacy was not an issue and the family was wonderful and accommodating... would definitely consider staying again if ever back in that area of Maine, very centrally located to go either north or south as it was about 3 hrs to Bar Harbor and 3 hrs to Boston...

Close and convenient

4 of 5
We chose this apartment because of its location. It was a 2 minute walk to the lobster festival. The apartment was small but cozy. The bed is full size so made it a tight squeeze for 2 people but we managed. There was a parking spot for 1 car across the street which was convenient. They had wifi and roku hooked up to the tv. There was no regular tv or cable so you couldn't watch any local news. They have a small fridge, microwave, hotpot for use. Only sink was in bathroom so don't expect to cook or clean. Overall we had decent experience. If we ever came back to rockland it would be for 1-2 nights and I would stay in Camden which is a 15 minute drive .
