Perfect week with three generations!

5 of 5
What a wonderful week! Thank you for the opportunity to stay in such a warm/welcoming, comfortable home on a beautiful lake. We had a great time fishing, kayaking, barbecuing and eating on the deck, enjoying fires in the firepit, making and eating S'Mores, playing games, and exploring the Greenville area. A perfect vacation!

Totally amazing - What a place!

5 of 5
This cabin was tastefully decorated and was so clean and comfortable, it felt like you were at home. The view of the lake was like nothing we'd seen before and we enjoyed many mornings sat on our dock in the sunshine enjoying the tranquility and amazing view. It was a lovely relaxing holiday, wildlife viewing, kayaking and taking a trip on the steamboat Katahdin around Moosehead Lake. If you are looking for a getaway from it all and complete relaxation, this is it! We loved the place and didn't want to leave and highly recommend it! (One thing to bear in mind is the the road leading to the cabin is a dirt road that you are on for 20 mins so would recommend a 4x4 that can cope with the wear and tear.)

Pushaw Lake

5 of 5
I am very happy to be the first to write a review for this great rental. It was my first trip to Maine and my girlfriend and I were extremely happy to have chosen this location. The listing information was honest and accurate. The house sits on a beautiful lake with wonderful scenery all around. There are other properties on each side, but you still can enjoy the privacy of your own patio leading to the water. At night all you hear is the water and the occasional loon. Keep the windows open for a great night’s sleep. I definitely recommend catching the breathtaking sunrises in the early morning, sitting outside by the fire, and lying on the dock during a stary night. The sky was full of shooting stars. You feel as if you have the lake all to yourself at times despite other families enjoying their stays. The owner generously provided a canoe and life preservers for those who want to explore the lake or take a swim. The house is set up nicely and was spotless upon arrival with all you need provided for a cozy stay. There were only 2 of us, but the house has 2 spacious bed rooms for another couple and a very comfortable sofa bed for a 3rd sleeping area. Cooking was easy and convenient inside or out as the owner has a gas grill out back for enjoying your meals lake side. We enjoyed walking around the area hunting for fresh blueberries and bird watching. Acadia National Park is about an hour’s drive from the property for anyone who plans a much recommended day trip or some great Maine Lobster. The owner is a great communicator and was quick to respond via email to any questions we had during the trip. We would recommend this for any small family or some friends looking for a peaceful Maine get away. I look forward to returning in the fall to see the leaves change.
