LOVELY SPOT ON A QUIET LAKE

5 of 5
If you are looking for a pretty spot with lots of solitude, then this is the cottage for you. A great place to swim or paddle, plus be entertained by loon calls in the evening. The cottage is very attractive and comfortable, with plenty of room to spread out and relax.

A WALK BACK IN TIME FOR ME.

5 of 5
I grew up at Indian Point, every summer of my life we would visit the Olson camp just next door. I remember my parents sending me over to the Finch camp each morning for water from the pump out front, I'm happy to report the water is as pure as it was then. I never went inside, just looked through windows as a curious little kid would. I brought my family there this year for our annual family picnic and we were very happy to find such a warm , cozy and comfortable place. Now that my childhood curiosity has been satisfied I can highly recommend this wonderful cozy camp to all who want to realize the friendly woods of Maine -- Absolute God's country.

THE PICTURES JUST DON'T DO THIS CABIN JUSTICE!

5 of 5
This was the first time my husband and I had used HomeAway, and this cabin was the 2nd stop in our trip. Amy, the owner, was so easy to contact through email, and answered my first-timer questions without fail. The cabin isn't "on" the water, but has very easy access. The interior is SPOTLESS and just beautiful, with everything you could need or want. It is comfortable and spacious. The 3rd night we were there, an entire area of the county lost power and we were welcomed by an automatic whole house generator. We had all the power we needed. What a blessing! We really enjoyed our stay at this charming cabin, and were thankful for such nice owners to help our first experiences with this type of vacation rental. =)
