clean, comfortable and homey! Great for families!

5 of 5
My family has been renting this place every summer for about 7 years. We LOVE it here!! The quiet location down a long dirt road is remote enough to create a peaceful oasis, but close enough to local attractions that you have somewhere to go when you get cabin fever. Wells, Kennebunkport, and Ogunquit are about 25 minutes away and Walmart is only 10. The owners keep this place impeccable with Crate and Barrel home-ware to boot. A cabin location with a finished, updated and homey feel. The lake is perfect for lounging and swimming. 'The Rock" is a short swim away and provides lots of fun for climbing and jumping. This place is perfect for families, we travel with 3 households (grandparents and two families with kids) and there are plenty of beds for all.

Quiet and Relaxing!

Enjoyed the stay very much. A great place to do something each day or nothing at all!! The perfect getaway. The place is exactly as pictured, clean and well-equipped. I agree with other guests that bringing along extra bath and kitchen towels would be helpful. I can imagine the fall foliage around the lake will be quite beautiful. We had gorgeous sunsets to watch and the multitude of stars at night. The fire pit was a favorite. We recommend eating at David's in Kennebunkport - fantastic food at a reasonable price on the water. The cold lobster roll at Allison's was the best I've ever had. Looking forward to a future stay!

I love this place.

Our family has been going to this home for three years. It is right on the water which you can't find with newer camps. Our kids love the slide and dock. We also take the rowboat out to the island and look for blueberries. The fishing is great right from the dock and we got a "huge" bass. The owner is lovely to work with and we have never been disappointed.
