Wonderful Place for quality family time!!!

5 of 5
What a wonderful home! Every detail was thought of for this vacation spot. We had a wonderful family get together for the holidays. We had 9 adults and 4 children ages 5 months to 10 years stay here and it was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for all of us. I love that there is no TV! We played board games, listened to music and even ventured out in the cold to make a fire and enjoy some S'mores! Our family had a fantastic time, and we are looking forward to another visit, hopefully not in the too distant future.

Great Maine Getaway

5 of 5
This charming Maine cottage was the perfect respite! We wanted peace, quiet, and tranquility and that is exactly what we enjoyed. The photos did not do justice for the cottage, it was everything I'd imagined and more. We absolutely loved the rustic charm and were in awe when we walked out on to the dock and witnessed a bald eagle in the tall pine right outside the door. We spent warm afternoons on the beach, which is literally steps away and then cool evenings in front of fire. We were serenaded each day by the Loons. The weather was very nice with a couple of thunder storms quickly blowing through in the late afternoon. The excitement and anticipation of this vacation had been building since January and did not disappoint. We look forward to coming back

The Perfect Maine Getaway

5 of 5
We have been renting the Loon's Nest property for 5 years. Having vacationed on Little Sebago for the past 30 years, this is the premier property on the lake. Secluded on a quiet part of the lake, you do hear the calls of loons every evening. The large front and back yards are perfect for family games. There is plenty of room for both sun and shade seekers. The swimming area is clear of reeds and the offshore float is great. The backyard fire pit is perfect for marshmallow roasts. We use the spacious back deck with umbrella table and barbeque for most meals. There are innumerable water toys for kids aged 2 to 80. The house itself has every amenity one would want, with even wireless internet recently added. The kitchen has everything one needs too, including all you need for preparing lobsters. The drive into Windham is quick if you need anything. The neighbors are wonderful and the local caretaker will respond quickly to any problems at the house that need attention. We hope to vacation at Loon's Nest for many years to come!
