Lovely location on little Sebago Lake

5 of 5
The house was spacious, well maintained, and beautifully equipped, everything we needed for a feel-at-home vacation. Kitchen was well-stocked, beds were comfortable, linens were good quality. Fun selection of movies, even toys for the little ones in our group. Beautiful private sandy beach with clean gradual entry. Great location for many kayaking trips around hunger bay, and short paddle to get to main part of little Sebago Lake. Use of fire pit and canoe was fun. Definitely a top notch location and lake house for a great week for our group. Ages spanning from two to sixty eight all enjoyed their time here.

A great base of operations for a vacation.

A great house away from it all, but close enough to see everything. The lake is very nice and the house is updated to allow you to keep in touch with the outside world if needed.

The Perfect Maine Getaway

5 of 5
We have been renting the Loon's Nest property for 5 years. Having vacationed on Little Sebago for the past 30 years, this is the premier property on the lake. Secluded on a quiet part of the lake, you do hear the calls of loons every evening. The large front and back yards are perfect for family games. There is plenty of room for both sun and shade seekers. The swimming area is clear of reeds and the offshore float is great. The backyard fire pit is perfect for marshmallow roasts. We use the spacious back deck with umbrella table and barbeque for most meals. There are innumerable water toys for kids aged 2 to 80. The house itself has every amenity one would want, with even wireless internet recently added. The kitchen has everything one needs too, including all you need for preparing lobsters. The drive into Windham is quick if you need anything. The neighbors are wonderful and the local caretaker will respond quickly to any problems at the house that need attention. We hope to vacation at Loon's Nest for many years to come!
