We come back every year!

5 of 5
I come to Mount 'N Sea every September for a week with a group of watercolor artists. This year I think will be our tenth. We love the charm of the place, the bright, airy feel of it, the view of the bay, the old-fashioned rooms and the unique old tourist home feel. Maurice and Jackie keep the place immaculate. They are wonderful about keeping us all comfortable and helping out whenever we need anything. The front porch looks out on the bay and the place is so far away from other buildings, the night sky is spectacular. The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful. Lots of space for parking. We have a group of about eighteen each year and there is lots of room for cooking and dining together and painting together indoors when we have a rainy or foggy day. Maurice always cooks us a lobster dinner on our last night there. This place is perfect for our group. We have a great time and just love coming back every September. Area restaurants in Lincolnville Beach, Camden and Belfast. Nothing very far away.

Great house

5 of 5
Excellent house, very well furnished on a beautiful and sunny lakefront property. Owner's representative was a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. Highly recommended.

Vacation Bliss

5 of 5
Imagine curling up on a nice, big, soft, cozy sofa looking out a HUGE picture window watching the big white puffy clouds floating across the bright blue sky over Penobscot Bay where all shapes and sizes of boats and ships ply the waters. Select a book from the extensive library, watch the birds and wildlife around the pond, or work on your favorite project or hobby in the comfort of the expansive Great Room. You'll find all the comforts of home in the unique quaint setting yet convenient to restaurants: "cheap and cheerful" to elegant dining to fast food or take out. Prefer to cook at home?? there are plenty of cooking utensils and nearby farmer's markets, produce stands, lobster outlets, groceries whatever you could need or want. Just a short drive (or walk) north is Lincolnville Beach with lovely Camden Harbor a few miles south. There are concerts, lectures, book reviews, wineries, antiqueing, shopping, hiking, boating, storytelling,: endless possibilities. We were there in the summer, but I can just imagine the wonders of autumn, winter, or spring in the Lovely Windjammer Barn where your hosts are friendly and full of information and suggestions to make your vacation personal and memorable. We spent August 2008 there and loved it.
