          It was wonderful.

The place is amazing. The cabin was wonderful and very comfortable. The owners are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. The campground is clean and beautiful surrounded by trees. Hike trails, 4 wheeler trails, fishing or relaxing. We would recommend this place to everyone and have already.

          Simply Beautiful

          5 of 5
We just returned from our 2 week vacation and I must say this cabin has got to be the most comfortable place we've stayed at. Not one detail was forgotten (master bed was so comfortable!!). A few of our favorite moments: sitting on the deck and staring at the water for hours, the day Hurricane Daniel rolled in and we were all snuggled watching movies, playing a vicious game of Uno with friends for hours, listening to the loons all day, watching a bald eagle as he was perched in a pine tree on the property.....the list goes on. The neighbors were terrific and didn't mind Jett, our nosey black lab, peeking in their homes. So if you're looking for the comforts of your own home, but also want the 'cabinish' feel - this is the place. Thank you James & Tillie for sharing your home with us. We hope to make it back again soon.

          A "Home Away From Home"

          5 of 5
My husband and I spent a week in November 2006 at this cottage on the lake. We were greeted by the lovely scent of a Maine Blueberry candle burning on the stove, the freshness of clean linens and a loaf of home baked bread. The cottage is well equipped with the essentials for cooking and baking, not to mention nice extras such as spices etc. The owners are very gracious and were able to offer us tips on where to visit and how to get there. The woodstove in the kitchen made for nice cozy nights and the owners supplied more than enough firewood. We will be returning to Maine this autumn and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.
