              This property is absolutely amazing!!

              5 of 5
The location is fabulous; the home is extremely comfortable and the owners could not have been more accommodating! We hope to have a repeat visit next year. If you want the stunning beauty of the ocean seemingly all to yourself and the solitude and privacy that comes with having your own peninsula, this is the vacation home for you! There was plenty of room for our family of six adults and the beautiful green lawn and rocky shore safely protecting the house from the ocean provided plenty of opportunity for outdoor activities or to just sit and be mesmerized by the continuously crashing waves. If you ever do want to leave (we didn’t), there are several nice sandy beaches nearby which are great for walking. The quaint town of Kennebunkport is 20 minutes south and Maine’s largest city Portland is about 40 minutes north. The location is perfect in every way!

              Perfect Location

              5 of 5
My husband and I have been coming to Maine for the past 20 years and we usually stay at an ocean front inn, but after a bad experience with a dog sitter, we decided to find a place to rent that allowed dogs. Initially we were afraid we'd miss the serenity of the ocean, but no worries, we didn't miss a thing! We rented the 1 bedroom unit. Upon arrival we found the unit spotless and very nicely appointed. That night and we saw the full moon rise over the water. The next morning we went to the beach (2 miles away) and watched the sunrise. Then stopped at the french bakery on the corner for croissants and came back and enjoyed coffee on the deck as we watched the tide roll in. After exploring for a day we came back and enjoyed a bottle of wine as we watched the hustle and bustle in Dock Square - close enough to watch, but far enough away to have peace and quiet. We found the privacy of a condo to be far superior to an inn, and the location of Waterscape can't be beat. Truly close enough to walk to everything, and there are beautiful waterviews from both the sitting room and bedroom. There were two other units occupied at the same time and the only reason we knew this is because we saw two cars - we did not see or hear anyone else - the units are very quiet. Roger, the owner, is a wonderful source for things to do and see and very pleasant to deal with. This was the best Maine vacation we ever had, it was truly a heartache to leave. We're going to try to convince the whole family to rent for the same time next year. The units are arranged so that each family can have their own unit, but also gather into a common area if they want to have shared time. Did we miss the ocean front inn - no way! Waterscape has it all!

              Kennebunport's Hidden Gem!

              5 of 5
My family and our dogs had an unforgettable Kennebunkport experience while staying at his utopian farmhouse! Situated on approximately 10 open acres and surrounded by more than 250 acres of protected land, this farmhouse is the perfect choice for those traveling with or without pets, who are looking for a spacious, comfortable, and private stay while visiting the beautiful Kennebunkport area. The landscape and set up of the home inside was stunning. The house is very clean and spacious and can accomodate a large group. The kitchen is equipped with all top line appliances and is continuous with the living room containing a lovely and warm 2 sided fireplace. There are windows lining the entire living room and kitchen area which overlook the picturesque landscape. There are two outdoor porches with beautiful views overlooking the barn and farm animals below. There is plenty of land for your children and pets to enjoy and a clear pond for those with dogs who enjoy the water. The location is a stones throw from downtown Kennebunkport and its many attractions including Cape Porpoise and the Bush compound on Walker's point. The barn is full of rescued farm animals, including 2 pot belly pigs, several goats, chickens, and even geese. The farm animals are all very gentle/friendly and are managed by a friendly employee who resides in a private location on the premises. We highly recommend this home rental. We will definitely plan on renting this house again!
