                      Black Pond Perfection!

                      5 of 5
In, on, and around Black Pond - Maine greeted us every morning and allowed us to play! We were close enough to the coast for day trips but our biggest surprise was Smalls Falls (check it out). For a party of 12 there was plenty of room for all and anything we could possibly need was right there. Thank you Paul for being the perfect host and sharing your piece of heaven.

                      The perfect getaway

                      5 of 5
I have been vacationing at these cabins since they were built - both with family and friends! I will say that whether you have kids in the single digits, or grandparents in their 90s - this is the perfect place for the whole family! It is far enough away from everything that you feel like you are in the wilderness - but close to a grocery store that you can run out quick for a last minute ingredient! The days on China lake are fun - with lots of Boaters / Jetskis / swimmers , riding down to the icecream shop and waving to the lake neighbors on the way but the nights are our favorite part! Big family dinners by the water and campfires that last through the night! This is and always will be our FAVORITE place to get away : ) When you turn off the main road onto the dirt path leading to the water its a certain excitement every year that just cant be explained! The cabins are also clean and comfortable. And for campers like us .. that aren't quite ready to live in just a tent , its perfect to have running water and a full kitchen! I have and will recommend this property to all my friends and family!

Amazing lake house with great accommodations

                      5 of 5
This is truly an amazing lake house rental that has all the comforts of home and more. The 10-hour drive from New Jersey to Wayne, Maine to stay at this house was well worth the trip. Our family is already talking about renting this house in the future. Don’t bringing anything but your family, clothes, fishing poles, and camera. There is great super market about 10 minutes away that has all the food and beverages (including alcohol) you need. The lake house includes everything you will need to cook. There is a huge porch and comfortable patio furniture overlooking the lake. From the porch, we enjoyed the sunshine reflecting on the lake, watched the bald eagles soaring and two humming birds feeding on the hanging flower baskets. Cooking was easy in the modern kitchen with a huge refrigerator, two sinks, and a professional-grade gas stove and oven. There is also a propane grill on the porch for grilling. There is plenty of room for everyone to eat either at the 8-seat dining room table or at the table on the porch. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe include in the rental property. The kayaks and canoe were a great way to check out the rest of Androscoggin Lake and its wildlife. Having the kayaks and canoe readily available each day was a huge benefit and saved us from renting kayaks from a not-to-nearby rental company which would been very costly. We did rent the boat for the week, but we are considering it on our next stay after Russ took us an awesome boat ride and tour of Androscoggin Lake; including the highlight of the boat ride, bald eagles on one of the islands. Evenings were special sitting on the bank of the lake in front of the fire eating Smores, or sitting by the fit-pit on the ground-level patio attached to the hours, or just sitting on the porch while listening to the Loons on the lake. If that does not appeal to you or members of your family there are four large flat screen TVs to watch your favorite show or a pool table. This is a great lake house rental property. Barb and Russ are wonderful people and made our stay very memorable. We very much recommend renting this house if you are interested in a lake front rental with all the amenities and comforts of home. It is definitely worth the price! Don’t miss out on this!!!
