Excellent house for our family reunion

5 of 5
My wife and I planned a family reunion to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. The house was a perfect choice, it was very comfortable for our family of 12. We appreciated Trish's thoughtful attention to details inside the house, everything we needed was on hand. The property was well maintained and the grandchildren had a great time playing and exploring. My wife and I took our coffee up to the little deck on the third floor every morning to watch the sun rise over Frenchman Bay. We will remember this anniversary for a long time.

A Bargain in Hulls Cove

5 of 5
Quaint and cheerful, Twin Gables will charm you the moment you walk through the door. There are enough bedrooms to house a small army, as well as a very comfortable living room, dining room [with a large table for the army], and a great kitchen that is fully stocked. There's lots of room for parking, and a handicap ramp in the back, if needed. The entire house was clean and neat, and the owner was very helpful and pleasant. Added to that, the location is only about a mile from the Hulls Cove entrance to Acadia National Park, and you have a real winner!

Awesome property...

5 of 5
Saw this property listed and loved the "look and feel". The only thing that concerned me was that it seemed very inexpensive related to other listings for that area. Called the contact number and spoke to Ingrid...she seemed very nice...so, we booked a week. The house/location was outstanding...away from the crowds on a quiet bluff, but, close to everything we were interested in doing. The deck at the cobble beach was a great place to hike down to for morning coffee and sunrise. We saw some seals and eagles. Acadia National Park is a wonderful place to hike/bike. We went kayaking with Maine State Sea Kayak in Southwest Harbor (about a 20 minute drive). They were recommended in National Geographic...and now we know why. If you're going to visit Acadia, and you're looking for a place to stay...check this place out. It's the best deal in the area...and nicer than anything else we saw.
