                      A truly magnificent Log Cabin!

                      5 of 5
A truly magnificent Log Cabin! Fun for the entire family and more. Everything about this home promotes quality time w/ friends &/or family. Lots of space to hang out. Game room, fantastic movie theater room, hot tub and not to mention the huge fire-pit area w/ 3 picnic tables and logs to lounge on around the fire pit. Surrounding towns w/ restaurants within a 15 min drive or less. I would recommend Rick's restaurant in Naples for a gorgeous lake view while u sip a beverage or have a meal on the upper deck. Rent a Jet Ski or take a boat ride on the Songo River Cruise boat. The "Corn Shop" in Bridgton is a must see gift shop. We are happy we rented this cabin w/ our children who are 6, 4 and almost 3 months old along w/ our parents. We've enjoyed delicious dinners in the gourmet kitchen followed by roasting s'mores. The back room w/ woods view has 2 dining tables that we've put to use constructing puzzles. Did I mention the beautiful rain shower in the master bedroom. The owner has been very kind in making wonderful recommendations in offering advice on what to visit/see and responds extremely fast to any questions I've sent via email. We loved reading about the construction of the log home that is in a binder near the kitchen. We would already love to visit again & we haven't left yet.

                      Perfect! Quintessential Maine Camp Experience!

                      5 of 5
Not sure where to start. The moment we arrived and walked-in, we were totally impressed with the appearance, condition, and cleanliness of the camp. It was well equipped, and the furnishings were appropriate and comfortable. The views of the lake are stunning from throughout the camp. Bedrooms were fine (comfortable! - fans provided throughout for hot nights) and the baths were updated and very clean. The access road to the driveway was paved, which is a big plus you don't always find, and there is easy, ample parking. I have rented many lake houses in New England, and this was easily our favorite! About a 15+ min drive to smaller grocery stores, restaurants, etc. (Harrison or Naples), and there are an abundance of good dining options nearby if you opt not to cook in the well appointed kitchen. The waterfront/dock is good for a boat I would estimate up to about 21'-22' and the water is deep with a safe approach. Great swimming off the dock with a nice swim raft. Condition of the dock is 7/10 (but the functional design is a 10/10). The fender plate on the middle pylon (for the boat) was broken when we arrived and I needed to pull it out of the water so it wouldn't damage the boat. The ladder needs a couple new screws or some new wood in that section of the dock as it as it was "pulling up/out" a bit when using it. Half-hour of maintenance would make both perfect. Only additions I would recommend would be a gas grill (instead of the charcoal in the basement - a pain to take out, use, clean, return to the basement) and maybe a spot for a campfire (kind of completes the Maine camp experience!) somewhere on the property. Internet/WiFi was a bit slow and didn't always connect. All-in-all, these are EXTREMELY "nitpicky" and minor issues, and don't at all take away from my 5-star rating, and noting that this place truly is PERFECT! Owners are easy to work with and quick to respond to inquiries. I hesitate to write such a glowing review (so I can selfishly keep this place somewhat of a secret!) but the owners have done such a nice job that they certainly deserve the kudos.Very grateful we were given an opportunity to rent here. We all miss it so much! Thank you!

                      Beautiful, relaxing get away

                      5 of 5
Absolutely beautiful house on Long Lake.. Very private and comfortable with great amenities. We loved the small town!! The two docks, kayaks, movie room, wonderful views of the lake throughout the house, the stocked kitchen, grill, very clean house, I can go on & on! The only things on our wish list to make our stay even more enjoyable would be better internet capability - it was difficult to connect to the internet & stay connected and for the slider doors to the deck to open & close with ease ( very difficult for even adults to open & close) .... Otherwise, a PERFECT vacation ! Thank you for renting out your beautiful home!!
