OUTSTANDING PLACE TO STAY

5 of 5
We love staying here! This was our third year in a row and it is so cozy and has everything you need! Convenient to Bar Harbor, SW Harbor but quiet enough to relax! We hope to come back again in the near future! The hiking is awesome although we were there during the govt shutdown but could still hike where we wanted for the most part. Great places to eat in Bar Harbor and the leaves were beautiful! Summer is great up there but fall is gorgeous! Nancy and Mandy are awesome!

WHAT A FANTASTIC PROPERTY!

5 of 5
We had an great time on MDI and in Acadia NP - despite the Government shutdown - Command Post was the perfect place to stay and the view of Somes Sound is spectacular. The house is small and mostly suited to two people. It is well designed and very well constructed. I don't think I'd feel a draft, even in the middle of winter. The views of the Sound and the surrounding property were highlighted by the large windows in the bedroom and living room, as well as the sliding glass doors in the living room. The house was very clean and well appointed with everything we could possibly have needed for our stay. There are neighbors, but their houses are a good distance away and seen just through the trees, so peace and quiet are virtually guaranteed. For a vacation house, it had everything we could ever have needed and lots of things we didn't even know we needed. The owners are very friendly and take wonderful care of the property. I'd definitely recommend the place to friends.

WELCOME TO MAINE!

5 of 5
My family of 6 had an amazing vacation in this cottage. Nestled in the woods yet close to main roads. There are neighbors but the houses can barely be seen through the woods. We ate lunch on the deck with a beautiful view of Sargent Mt and the Sound. I drank my morning coffee watching the fog lift. (Only a few feet away deer would wonder by.) The decor is nautical and has a cozy feeling. Very clean and plenty of room. Thank you so much for sharing your cottage with us!
