This Home Has It All For Every Season!

5 of 5
This home's setting is absolutely beautiful! The house is stocked with everything you need. Most places you need to buy paper products, detergants etc but here you just need to supply your food. The kitchen was well stocked, they had firewood for the fireplaces and fire pit down at the dock. The grill was great! We came during the foilage and there were so many places nearby to hike. In the winter there is the skiing and summer the wonderful lake.We loved drinking coffee down on the dock in the morning or evening-so peaceful and calming. We were able to bring our dog, Lucy, with us and it made it that much more special. She even went canoeing with us. Yes this place even provides canoes and kayaks. It would be a wonderful place for big families to vacation together as there was plenty of room and spaces for everyone. We would like to experience this home in every season!

Ok where do I begin? This was the best vacation ever for my family and our friends, now officially named "The City Bears." Round Pond Station is gorgeous, the facility is huge, it lacks nothing (the amenities are unheard of!), impeccably maintained, and the scenery is unbelievable. We woke up daily to a gorgeous view of Mt. Abram (rain or shine), took off on the canoes and seacycles to the uninhabited island where we explored and showed off our skills jumping into the pond off the rope swing, we had relay races and gave away a trophy, some of us hiked the great mountains, hung out at Big Adventure and went searching for crystals. For those who stayed behind, there was never a dull moment. We had pool and table tennis tournaments, we soaked in the incredibly soothing hot tub, we explored the nooks and crannies of the facility, and made smores over the campfire with the children. Some of us simply relaxed by the pictureque windows overlooking the pond and curled up to a good book! There was something to do for every personality. Of course there were some mishaps! Aunt Julia fell out of the canoe, our friend, Michael, couldn't make it all the way up the mountain because he was out of breath until we yelled out "Bear!" (Of course there aren't any bears!) and during a game of Twister, Moriah split her pants! And yes, we have it all captured on tape! All in all, we had a blast! The facility is so private and so big, with even a large group (as we 16 adults and 9 kids), no one got in each other's way. There was always something different to do every day. Have to say that by far, Round Pond Station is an exceptional place and it was so enjoyable, we did not want to leave! We have officially made it an annual family tradition, a place we can take family, friends and our children every year and make great loving memories! by Briget and the City Bears
