Great cabin.

5 of 5
We had a great time in this cabin. It was easy to find, and easy to get to Sunday River, and Bethel.

Such a beautiful and cozy house

5 of 5
Renee is an absolute joy to communicate and work with. She went above and beyond to make sure that my family and I were well accommodated. The house itself was beautiful. It lends itself this " and there's more "factor. I really couldn't have picked a better place. I was taken back at first by the location thinking that we would be in the middle of nowhere. Being more adventurous tho, this didn't bother me a bit, but my family enjoys sight-seeing and more indoor fun. It helped that we were so close to Bethel. While the city wouldn't strike anyone as impressive, it has all the essentials, banks, restaurants, convenient store including a really clean rite aid and even mini gold courses, indoor rock climbing ext. So, if like me, you are more adventurous. You like river sports, zip lining, skiing, hiking, [insert lake/river activities] than this is the perfect place for you. I do recommend that you plan ahead however. Thanks again, Renee, for opening your beautiful house to my family and for being so patient with me :)

Best family vacation ever.....amazing views!!!!

5 of 5
We found this gem amongst the Home Away website and instantly fell in love with it. The pictures do not do the house or the views justice. I wish there was a place to submit my own photos. It is a roomy log cabin in pristine condition. The two bedrooms downstairs were bigger than expected, and the upstairs loft style space was perfect for my three children. The house was immaculate and we felt welcome right away. We were immediately taken with the views of the pond....in fact that is where we spent most of our time. We took full advantage of use of the canoe, and other boats provided. The pier was literally 20 feet away just across the street. The owner was nothing short of wonderful to work with. There were so many nice touches that Michael added that made us feel right at home. I personally loved the sun porch where I could watch the kids swim while I relaxed in the shade. The pier is THAT close to the house. This place is a find. We plan to go every year if the owner will have us. Thanks Michael for sharing your amazing space. -The Parker Family
