Lovely Maine Coast Home

5 of 5
The property is beautiful as shown in the photos. The home is clean, well-maintained, very interesting, and comfortable. We had an issue with smoke alarms going off randomly and the owners were readily available and very helpful in resolving that. I think it should be noted somewhere that the kitchen is on the lower level and living room is on the second level. It seems that it might be a great arrangement with kids coming in and out, but we had some older adults and that meant having to go up and down stairs - not a problem, just something to be aware of. We had a great stay and I would be happy to recommend the property to anyone.

Summer Vacation

5 of 5
The home in Waldoboro was very nice and exceptionally clean. We loved the view of the bay. The home was setup with all the necessities and a great grill. We would highly recommend renting kayaks. We rented from a super nice man in Friendship just a few miles down the road (downtown Friendship at the Inn). His rates were lower than anyone else and he delivered right to the house. We were able to kayak around Hungry Island and saw seals in the bay. We would highly recommend this home to others.

Our Secret...Please!

5 of 5
Against my better judgement, I am writing a review. I mean really, why would I want the whole world to know what a great place this is. What if they're all booked up next time we want to come? We are a family of four, and each member wants to come back. Enough said? I really cannot say enough wonderful things about the home, and our wonderful hosts. We were fortunate that they were in the area, and they graciously submitted to our multitude of questions. Suzanne also was always quick to respond to any email queries. Our fishing luck was not too stellar, but boy, did we find some great lobster deals. I mean, really, lobster that's cheaper than a Whopper, how great is that? We were able to find tons of fresh mussels right at the dock, but never got a clear reading from the Maine Fisheries if they were safe to eat. No worries, tons of places to go in the local area for fresh seafood. OK, I'm a dude, but even I was floored at how wonderfully decorated the house was. Everything we needed was there. OK so, can you please keep this a secret?
