THE DOG HOUSE

5 of 5
What a great place! The Dog House is everything advertised and more! We just spent a week to celebrate or 25 aniversary. Lisa was a gracious host providing tons of "local" information so that we instantly felt at home in Eastport. The house itself was perfect from the unique but fun decor to the amazing views from the deck. The pictures drew us to this home and we were not disappointed. Eastport is a wonderfully relaxing place to unwind and enjoy Maine. Thanks and we can't wait for our next visit.

BEAUTIFUL SCENERY AND LOTS OF WILDLIFE.

4 of 5
We had a wonderful family visit and enjoyed the scenery and beautiful sunsets. Sometimes we went out for dinner and sometimes we cooked at home. The house certainly had all the conveniences for whatever you needed. We saw the deer come right up to the house and they weren't afraid of us. Lovely time had by all. Thank you Danny and John.

SEA GLASS STUDIO

5 of 5
My wife and I were coming to Eastport to look at a home for sale. Though the rental was listed from Saturday to Saturday the owner was able to accomadate our Thursday arrival and the next Sunday departure. Since it was just two of us, we stayed in the Sea Glass Studio. With its separate entrance, it was just what we needed. The queen size bed was comfortable and the kitchen allowed us to have breakfast and some lunches there. The bathroom was adequate. It had only a stall shower, but that was fine with us. The apartment was very roomy and clean and there was a nice yard with water views. As we were there when Sandy passed through, we didn't make much use of that! Also, we were able to use the land line phone in the apartment for local and long distance calls. This is important in Eastport, because most of the time your cell phone will roam to a Canadian tower. Our only negative was the cable tv did not work. This was really only a problem because of the approaching storm. As an added bonus, on two different occasions we had deer in the yard that were fun to watch. I would recommend Sea Glass for a single person or a couple. The owner was very accomodating and where else do you get a bottle of "Sea Glass" wine with your stay?
