Log Cabin on Linekin Bay

5 of 5
My wife and I asked our Grandkids, who visited us for a few days during our stay, for their opinions. After reading them we decided we could not say it better. Linekin Bay Lookout review: (Grandson age 11) I really liked the house on Linekin Bay. It was a really cool spot, the house was clean and kept in tip top shape! What was even cooler is there was a deck by the garage where we loved to hang out and eat! There was also a great little pathway for my sister and I to get down to the community dock, where we would swim and fish. There was a great view everywhere you where in the house. The owner took us on an amazing boat ride, which was a lot of fun. He was also very helpful whenever we had a question. If your looking to rent a house on Linekin Bay make sure to rent there. The house was so comfortable. It seemed like there was always something fun to do there. (Grand daughter age 9) My favorite part of Maine and the log cabin was the boat ride. I thought it was a lot of fun and I thought it was really cool seeing the harbor seal and all of the different islands. I also liked how the owner was really nice and I also liked how there was a look out so we could see the beautiful bay. Another thing about Maine was the different kinds of houses. We stayed in an awesome, amazing log cabin and I wish I could go back next year.

The location in Ocean Point is just perfect.

We loved the house, location, and the lovely views spanning 270 degrees. The house is amazingly well equipped from the kitchen to the luxurious bath towels. There was a lovely welcome basket including goodies for our little furry friend. Everything was clean upon arrival and the property manager stopped by our 2nd day to ensure all was well and to provide tips on both the house and things to see and do. We both cooked on the grill and dined out - on seafood of course. We loved to grill and enjoy dinner on the wonderful deck. We went bike riding on the Kennebec rail to trail and walked every day. The men enjoyed an air/car show while the ladies shopped. Our entire party loved the house and the area!

Just Awesome!

5 of 5
Serene with a view. This home was perfect for our family of 5 and our 2 little dogs. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. Owner Pete was pleasant to deal with and even came by to make sure we were all set with everything, Cozy yet we had plenty of room to spread out. We fished and collected shells. We also took days trips to Boothbay Harbor, Pemaquid Lighthouse (just beautiful!), and went to Hollywood Casino in Bangor! We appreciated that there are only 2 steps to get into the building and 2 of the bedrooms are downstairs, good for the mobility challenged like myself. There is one bedroom upstairs with spiral staircase for the more limber of us. I would definitely recommend to friends. Thanks Pete!
