Cozy Cottage on Cottage Point

5 of 5
We had such a lovely stay on Cottage Point. The home is in a perfect location and the owner is so wonderful!! She truely wants you to feel at home and have a memorable vacation. The home is airy and has everything you need including a well stocked kitchen supplies and cookbooks! The area is in between Damariscotta Lake and Pemaquid beach. The best of both worlds! The town offers nice shopping and yummy restuarants. I would recommend this cabin to all my friends and family. The property is right on the river with beautiful views of the town. I cannot wait to see Becky and Richard on our next vacation!

Stunning Spot

5 of 5
The cottage is in a stunning position set back a few feet into the trees but overlooking the Damariscotta River. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped, including a number of pieces of antique furniture which contribute to the atmosphere. it as a few minutes drive from Damariscotta, which provides all the facilities likely to be needed by anyone on vacation. We were visiting from the UK and, therefore, did not have a US bank with which to pay by cheque/check. This caused some complications both for ourselves and the owners but they dealt with them efficiently and helpfully. Anyone visiting this area should be sure to visit the Wiscasset, Waterville and Farmington Railroad Museum at nearby Alna. It is fascinating. We hope to return to the cottage within the next year or two and would recommend it to anyone.
