Classic Maine Cottage

5 of 5
The location of this cottage is stunning. Damariscotta lake is one of the prettiest in Maine (I know, I live in Maine). This cottage makes this wonderful lake even better. Private location, well furnished, clean, tastefully renovated plus amazing views from inside and outside! Perfect.

Beautiful Cottage on quiet lake with amazing view

5 of 5
Great time to be had here with kayaks, a conoe, fishing poles, fire pit and grill. Everything one would need for some time away from the chaos of everyday life. Thanks Mark and Holly for a great cottage.

A wonderfully peaceful and contemplative place

5 of 5
We have visited many times and ALWAYS had a fabulous visit. Just to hear the loons from the dock-priceless. We find that it is an easy drive to Damaricotta (Book store and all of Main Street), Round Pond, Pemaquid Lighthouse and Lobster Coop, Rockland (Farnsworth Museum, Conte's 1894, and Primo), and Rockport (Schooner rides). Stocking up at the Farmers Markets or road side stands along with Morse's Saurerkraut is the icing on the cake. Julia, Joanne and Ellis are just great hosts. If you like hustle and bustle, this is not the place for you but if enjoy wine and cheese while looking out at a beautiful lake in the early evening or coffee on the dock at sunrise, then you definitely want to visit here. Your BP will be lower when you leave! ENJOY!
