Excellent cottage with a great view and solitude

5 of 5
Just returned from our vacation, with our family, from this wonderful cottage. The four bedrooms gave us all the space we needed and the rest of the cottage was superb. This was our first stay at the cottage but it will not be our last. We plan on going back next year for our 11th annual family vacation. The screen porch is large enough to accomodate our entire family. Just perfect for us. Thank you Jim and Linda The Frechette, Fall and Goodman Families.

Paradise

5 of 5
We've spent two wonderful summers here. The house is beautifully furnished, new kitchen, light, open spaces, well-stocked kitchen. What the pictures don't reveal is that you are right on the water - a wonderful rocky beach for wading, climbing, collecting shells. A short walk away is a sandy bay with lots of sand creatures for the children to capture. There's a delicious, 4-star restaurant next to the beach. And while it's hard to leave this luxoriously comfortable home, you have the choice of heading out to nearby Rockport and Camden for music, theatre, art, hiking, and boating. You can catch the ferry to Monhegen, take a kayaking tour, eat home-made ice cream and visit art galleries right in Port Clyde. Perfect for an extended family of adults and kids.

Great Location, Great Place

5 of 5
Located in a private, quiet coastal area where there isn't too much recreational activities going on out your back porch. Lobster boats and kayaks but not much else. Great spot for access to the water and hiking and swimming. Also near Camden, Rockland and Thomaston, so somewhat larger towns with great food and sights are nearby. The studio is clean, spacious and just a great location. Just what we were looking for!
