Beautiful!

4 of 5
Well this is the second time my wife and I have stayed here over the last few years and it didn't disappoint. We both absolutely love Cape Porpoise and this place is perfectly positioned to enjoy everything the area has to offer. We'll be back that's for sure. The praise being said, we both agreed that having a working stove in the cooler days would be awesome but we understand why it might not be usable. Secondly, it might be time for new couches. The ones in the living room were very dirty on our arrival but luckily we had sheets with us to put on them so we could use them. We do still love the place and the issues were very minor. Thanks for the chance to stay!!!

Perfectly Charming Cottage/Awesome Water View

5 of 5
Brian was great with communications, even letting us know we could arrive a bit early. I can't find enough positive descriptors for this charming cottage. Each little detail in decorating and provisions was outstanding. The pictures don't really do it justice. Wish I could share some of my own. :) Great location. Easy walk into the town and up to the wharf. The sites and sounds and eating all outstanding. Great grocery store. Unique takeout food store open all year! Not fast food, but the real deal. Also super gifts and wine. We went for the fall colors and were not disappointed. Again, I wish I could share pics! The porch is the best part of the cottage with awesome rocking chairs and a super water view which you can also see from the wonderful kitchen. It was just my husband and me, but 4 would be fine here, too. Loved the dining room, but didn't get an opportunity to actually use it. My husband relaxed in Cape Porpoise more than I've seen him relax anywhere. We definitely plan to return and stay longer next time. Thanks, Brian & Michael for sharing your very special cottage. :)

Updated and clean cottage in a great location.

5 of 5
The cottage was lovely, modern and nicely updated. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely views of the marsh and convenient to the immediate area as well as Portland, and Freeport. The screened in porch is great for dining or just hanging out. Nice plasma TV in the living room. The kitchen was well equipped. Everything was extremely clean. A/C in the upstairs bedrooms, which would be good in the summer when needed. The property manager, across the street, was extremely responsive and kind to all requests, though I didn't have many. Having lived in the area for 20 years, I am familiar with the restaurants and shops. As far as restaurants, I would recommend: Tides Beach Club, Pier 77 and The Ramp, David's Boathouse, Kennebunkport Inn, Hurricane's. There were other recommendations that I didn't try. The cottage accommodated my guests just fine. I would definitely recommend friends to rent it for a weekend, week, or month as I did,
