Great location on Crescent Beach!

5 of 5
Great location with steps to the beach! Although on the small side, the house was very well-equipped for our family of 5 adults and an 18-month toddler. It was spotless and we found games, books, TV's in each room for entertainment. Kayaking to the little island across the water was popular amongst the two men in our group. Restaurants nearby with good choices for all food tastes, and for lobster lovers the Bite into Maine in the nearby park is not to be missed. The owner was so nice to work with and we will be back. Thanks, Karen

Great Location!

5 of 5
It was the best location. Right near the ocean. It was bright and sunny. The only drawback was that you need one of those blackout masks to sleep in past 5:20am because the sun would be streaming in the windows even with the blinds closed. Overall, a quaint cottage.

Loved it!

5 of 5
Like the previous reviewers have said, this rustic home is the perfect place to “get away from it all” but without having to give up any modern conveniences. If you’re looking for a place to create some of those old-fashioned, fun family memories with the kids, this is it. Between the sounds of the ocean and the breeze through the trees, or the morning sunrises or evenings by the stone fireplace, there was always something to create a wonderful mood. And we simply plugged in our (outdated) iPod Touch and were able to play our favorite music. (There are also a TV/DVD player and plenty of DVDs for kids, as well as games and puzzles.) And it was so easy to get to the local beaches or to food shopping or downtown Portland. Can’t think of a better place for a nostalgic, relaxing and easy vacation.
