Beautiful and Cozy Little Cottage

5 of 5
Very easy and pleasant dealing with the owners, we arrived to this cozy cabin for a weekend wedding in Camden. It was perfect and an affordable alternative to pricy hotels in the downtown area. In fact, being from a pedestrian friendly city, we walked to and from downtown for every wedding festivity we attended. Also, being from NYC the cottage felt very spacious for our needs. Hope to visit again in the future.

Charming house and convenient location

5 of 5
We enjoyed our stay in this clean well-maintained cottage. It is close not only to Camden but also to other small coastal towns like Rockland. We had all modern amenities plus the feeling of old times because the house is beautifully decorated.

Private and exceptional

5 of 5
Porcupine Cottage was an absolutely fantastic experience. Right on the water at the end of a private road, the location is relaxing, serene and beautiful. The sounds of the woods and water are all you hear. We could hear the loons calling at night, which added to the sense of peacefulness and that nature was all around. We also saw a fox running through a blueberry field just up the road. The cottage itself was really outstanding. Clean and clearly very well maintained, it has a spacious feel with high ceilings in the living room and a nice layout. It had everything we needed, including a huge lobster pot for cooking. The screened-in porch was a wonderful place to relax at night, and the deck the perfect place for breakfast with a view of the water. Couldn't have been happier with the cottage. Having stayed in many places we felt this was an absolutely terrific value. Jeff the manager was very friendly, helpful and easy to reach. We hadn't spent much time in Camden or mid coast Maine before, but there is so much to do. Camden itself is a fun, well manicured town with spectacular local hiking and a gorgeous marina. Great restaurants. Acadia National Park is fairly close and was an easy drive. A top notch experience.
