Very nice, excellent location

4 of 5
We enjoyed our 1-week stay very much. The cottage is adjacent to the owner's home and is very nice - comfortable and clean. For our purposes (2 retired people and our dog) it was perfect. The owner is extremely nice and very thoughtful. The location is in a nice, quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance (about 1/2 mile) from lovely downtown Camden. We walked into town every day. The living area encompasses the entire first floor, with the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen area on the second floor. With 4 operable skylight windows, the second floor was well lit and airy. The queen bed was very comfortable. The kitchen area is adequate, with a refrigerator/freezer unit beneath the range. The freezer compartment didn't quite want to make ice, but the owner was glad to accommodate us with ice from their freezer. The bathroom is clean, though a tad on the small side - my only complaint was that, being 6'-4", headroom in the shower was a bit limited under the gable roof. For the average person it would be no problem. That being said, we had an excellent time and highly recommend it!

Cozy, Comfy and Convenient

5 of 5
Thanks for sharing your home. It was so cozy and comfy to come home to every day, especially the beds! Loved the yard and sitting on the deck in the evening. We appreciated how centrally located it was. Easy day trips to Bar Harbor in one direction and the great maritime museum in Bath going the other way. We would like to come visit again.

GREAT BASE CAMP FOR EXPLORING MID-COAST MAINE!

5 of 5
Spent three weeks here and never regretted a minute. The cottage is everything purported to be, completely comfortable, perfectly clean, and adequately furnished and equipped. Wonderful library of topical reading. And beautiful grounds. Nice owner David was available but not intrusive—actually wish we had gotten to know him better as some tenants obviously have. An absolute great value well suited to long stays in the exceptionally beautiful Camden/Rockport area with daily access from Acadia to Portland.
