PERFECT GETAWAY LOCATION FOR A LARGE GROUP... RELAXING, SPACIOUS, ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL

5 of 5
Stayed for the weekend with my book club consisting of 10 adult females. We had a great time being able to just relax and be away from the everyday city life. The fact that we were not too far from things to do was great but also being able to have the privacy of being set away from it made it that much enjoyable. The amount of space was perfect and the many bathrooms/ showers made it possible for every to have their privacy when wanted but the ample seating in the common area made it easy for us to come together as a group when needed/ wanted. Being able to relax on the deck while enjoying the view was breathtaking. I would DEFINITELY stay again !!!!

Awesome place to stay!

4 of 5
This is a charming cottage! We found the property to be very clean, and well kept. There is WiFi and cable if you want it - nice when looking for things to do. The cottage has a screened in porch and an open porch, both great for lounging, reading and relaxing. There is a swing down by the water. We were sang to sleep each night by a pair of Loons with thier babies - so awesome! The communications with the manager of this property were prompt and accurate. This property is right on the water with a lot of versitility. They have a nice size boat that is available to renters. You can swim, kayak or fish right off the peer. The water is clean and refreshing. Short walk to the private beach, the first day we arrive the beach did have a fair amount of pet droppings, this was cleaned up and the rest of the week it was no issue. The beach is suitable to small children as well as adults of all ages and grown children. The sand extends a fair distance into the water, some seaweed as you go out to the dock but nothing that touches you unless you go to the bottom. Bridgton has a lot to offer, movie theater, hiking, Reny's and lots of great places to eat. One of our favorites was Mack's, more of a dinner or casual dining area but the seafood was great. Don't forget to stop by the Gazebo for ice cream (hard or soft serve), yumm! Close to North Conway for outlet shopping. We had a great time, strongly recommend the cottage

Fantastic home base for an magnificent weekend.

I think the best way I can summarize this property is that the morning before we left, I sent an email to Pam to let her know that we'd like to come back in the spring. The house was everything we hoped it would be. Set away from the road, with its backyard overlooking Highland Lake and the property's private dock, the house felt like it was completely isolated, but was within walking distance of downtown Bridgton. The location was just about perfect and our weekend away was just perfect. Looking forward to heading back!
