Our 24-person company had an amazing experience at Nawandyn and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the property and the accommodations. The grounds couldn't be more lovely. There are plenty of large-group meeting spaces, especially the boat house which was by far the crowd favorite. All of the activities - boating, tennis, volleyball, etc. - allowed for a lot of fun to be mixed with the more serious work. Diane worked with us on all of the details, from big to small, to make sure our 5-day stay was a success and the retreat met the company's objectives. It was top-notch in every way.

A magical 5 days spent on a serene pond locale!

My family, including a 5 month old baby, spent a glorious vacation in this charming log house with all the amenities one could possibly need. We canoed, kayaked and swam, barbecued on the grill and made S'mores in the fire pit. And when we were tired, we lazed in the hammock overlooking the water. We couldn't ask for anything more and intend to return next summer, although we are tempted to view the autumnal changes from this spot as well.

Truly Wonderful Experience

5 of 5
I rented this home for my family (parents and 2 kids), my sister's family (parents and 3 kids), and two others. The home itself is beautiful and very comfortable - a real pleasure to be in. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, far and away the best equipped kitchen I've had in any of the vacation homes I've rented. While the house is in a very quiet and secluded area, if you're of a mind to not just relax you can quickly be kayaking in any of the many lakes nearby, biking, hiking, picking fruit, rock hunting, etc. Back at the house after the sun has gone down, you'll have a brilliant star-lit sky with the Milky Way visible immediately even before your eyes have really adjusted. All the amenities (sauna, hot tub, grill) work well, and the owner has left very clear instructions for using them - not in an overbearing way, but giving you the confidence to actually use them. The furnishings, indoors and out, are all appropriate for this kind of home. I would certainly rent this property again and recommend it highly to others.
