This house is the best! Open concept and clean.

The house is big and is very nice. It is the type of house that the kids can walk in with sand on their feet and you're not afraid of ruining anything. Comfortable, cozy and lived in. I loved not worrying about sweeping and cleaning my whole vacation. It's right on the water and has trees on both sides that keep you very private. Dealing with Peggy was easy and extremely friendly. There are grocery stores and shopping 20 minutes away but other than picking up a few necessities we opted to stay and enjoy the lake. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a comfortable relaxing vacation on a beautiful lake.

We had a great time at the camp and it was all we could ask for. The facilities were extraordinary, the lake was beautiful, and we had a wonderful family gathering. The camp is very spacious.

Real Maine

5 of 5
My wife, and our friends stayed at the cottage for a week and loved it! We have stay at a lot of places through VRBO and this is the best place by far. We have been to Maine twice now and we learned from the first trip to find a place centrally located, but closest to the place you like the most. It is very close to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and Bangor. The lake and lake views were incredible. Everything you would ever need is at the cottage: Lobster pot (we steamed our first lobsters), BBQ Grill, kayaks, canoe, row boat, Big Screen Hi-def tv, every appliance is state of the art. You honestly never want to leave. The cottage was spotless when we got there, you think you are walking into a model home. The owners own The Drydock Inn and Cafe and the food and service was great! Its worth the trip and Southwest Harbor is a neat little town away from the tourist trendy Bar Harbor. We will be back but probably stay for 2 weeks.
