FANTASTIC LOCATION

5 of 5
The location of this house is wonderful - the harbor views, just FANTASTIC!!! The house is very cozy, clean and comfortable - and very well equipped. It was so nice to just step out of the front door and walk to nearby restaurants and shops. Early morning strolls to the footbridge over the harbor were especially enjoyable. We did not try all of the restaurants, but our favorites were Mine Oyster, Ports of Italy, and The Bistro. They were fantastic! Another hit was The Ice Cream Factory - our favorite flavor - Chocolate Lover's Delight!!! Jane was very helpful in answering any questions we had. I do highly recommend this rental!

Incredible!

5 of 5
We had a terrific time with our two young children at Little Dipper! The house and views are breathtaking. Some of our favorite things included hiking, kayaking, watching sunsets, sea glass hunting, swimming in the lake (nearby), day trip to Monhegan island, Reid State Park, farmer's market, and terrific picnic lunches from Southport and East Boothbay General Stores. We had dinner in several times because it was hard to be away from the view! Our kids loved the lobster boat tour with Captain Clive Perrin and we had a delicious dinner out at the Lobster Dock. We also ate a ton of ice cream at Sarah's Scoops and Downeast Ice Cream Factory. My husband enjoyed the beer from the Boothbay Brewing Company. Kids also liked the railway village. We look forward to being able to return to LDC one day!
