Great family gathering for our 50th anniversary

5 of 5
Owner was excellent to work with and very quick to respond. The 4 bedrooms and loft area were great for our 4 sets of parents and the grandchildren. The open kitchen, dinning and living area were terrific for our central gathering area. The 8 adults had the dinning table and the kids had the island for eating, People enjoyed the game room and hot tub when we were not out in the community somewhere. All of us went zip lining on our anniversary day. Connie and Roger

Beautiful and brand new Ski Chalet

5 of 5
We loved staying here this past weekend (Feb 2014) while we skied at Sunday River. The house is very new, nicely decorated, and squeaky clean. The kitchen is well equipped, and the beds are really comfortable. The cookies and hot cocoa welcoming us when we arrived were a nice touch. Location is a quick 5 or 10 minute drive from Sunday River, and 3 minutes from the rental office. We were on the slopes for first tracks! 9 of us were very comfortable here for the weekend, but there was room and beds for more - 14 bed spots, actually. One of the bedrooms is not pictured in the listing, but has a double bed and two twins. We had a bit of trouble with the heat in the first level, but the rental agency was able to contact the owner (at 10pm on a Friday night, no less!) and got us fixed up with some space heaters that worked well. The main floor has a gas fireplace which was really easy to use and so nice to have. Hot tub was clean and warm, but be sure to heat it up a few hours before you want to use it because it takes some time. We could've used some instructions/passwords for the TV and a wifi password (but to be fair, we didn't bother to call and ask). We were able to figure out most everything else. There also were no instructions for how to leave the house so we weren't sure about cleaning procedure or trash, but did our best. Thank you Cindy and the Pim family for a great weekend in Maine. We'll be back!
