Good for families

5 of 5
We were looking for a comfortable place to stay with our five-month-old that was close to trails, views, and towns. The property met those requirements and then some. We enjoyed how well-kept the cabin was. In addition to being tastefully decorated, the bed and bed linens were extremely comfortable -- a key point for new parents running a sleep deficit. We travel frequently and enjoy the small touches that make a place feel like home. The cabin was stocked with family-friendly movies (and one copy of Silence of the Lambs), games, and dry goods, so it felt like we were staying at a friends' house rather than a soulless timeshare or condo. We took our little guy hiking on the Mount Will loop and up to Grafton Notch State Park. Both were enjoyable. North Conway and the Presidentials are a nice day trip away, and Gorham, NH is a fun side trip if you're looking for a little more action than we found in Bethel. (I'm assuming it's shoulder season, too late for river sports and leaf-peeping and too early for skiing.) We'd stay again in a heartbeat if we were in the area.

Great - Relaxing

Clean, spacious, well-maintained house. Great for a family re-union. We enjoyed hiking the step falls and paddling on the pond.

Nice Place and Owner

It was a very great experience in staying this vacation house for 3 days and Jim is a great person and helped us a lot with this stay. I would definitely come back and recommend this to others. Thanks Jim and his family for great offers with our stay.
