The perfect summer vacation spot

5 of 5
Beautiful cottage both inside and out. Spacious, clean and very welcoming. Pond was perfect for swimming, kayaking and fishing. Area is quaint and peaceful. All amenities included. Owners were great to work with and to help plan our last minute vacation. The wrap around porch is stunning. Our family hopes to return for many more summers to come!

Fantastic family weekend!

4 of 5
We take a trip to Santa's Village every year the weekend after Thanksgiving. This is the first year we have rented a house. We loved it and we are already planning a summer trip. The house was so cute and we loved the bright sunny kitchen. The kids loved the big fenced in backyard and wished the pond had been completely frozen so they could skate. All the necessities were already there so packing was so much easier!

Exactly as described

4 of 5
This camp is exactly as described. This camp is not for those looking for something "fancy". You have a place to sleep, a place to cook, and a place to sit and eat. There are two covered picnic tables outside, great if you have visitors. Beds are comfortable. Camp was clean. Satellite TV was an unexpected bonus--most places I've rented in the past I've been lucky if there's a working antenna. I appreciated the owners' helpfulness, friendliness and the same from their neighbor. Notes: If you need to access the Internet, there are several restaurants in town with free WIFI along with the chamber of commerce/visitor's center next to the movie theater. If you need camp wood, there's a place near the head of the lake that will sell you a small wheelbarrow full for $3. This is better than any other place I saw in town.
