A GEM OF A PLACE TO STAY ON THE MID-COAST.

5 of 5
We were a family of 5 staying in this newly renovated home. Our contact concerning acquiring information and assistance with questions prior to our arrival was prompt and courteous. The house and deck was much nicer than the outdoor pictures reflected. The house was exactly or nicer than the inside pictures could show. The fresh wood smell was wonderful way to be greeted when we came in the front door each day. The view from the porch of the harbor was beautiful. The home has wonderful perks which we appreciated -from the ping pong table in the upper level, access to a washer and dryer, the comfortable beds, the natural light available in most of the house, the thoughtful details (entry closet area, hall table for keys, adequate and adjustable indoor lighting, fiesta tableware, second bathroom, recycling, tasteful decor and the cleanliness). They were creative with creating useful space in an older home while maintaining its character. The location was reasonable. We stayed in the Mid-Coast area venturing down south as far as Freeport and as far north as Acadia. We also enjoyed the town itself getting food at Alexia's (takeout) and ate along the harbor down from the rental, Darby's (late in the day) and taking advantage of the Co-op. We would definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone staying in this area. It felt like we were truly in Maine.

WONDERFUL TIME IS THIS LOVELY BELFAST HOME.

5 of 5
We had a wonderful stay in the Belfast home. The house is well furnished with everything you need in the two kitchens. The view is great. There is a fire ring by the water and wood too. We enjoyed the chickens and fresh eggs. The house managers were very helpful. They recommended places to buy our live lobsters. We learned to cook them in the big pot that was included with the home. There is an awesome bbq grill and outside table. We enjoyed the outside deck and patio chairs. Morning coffee in the fresh cool air was a favorite time of the day. The rooms upstairs had A/C they were portable but we were told that they would moved them to which ever rooms we wanted them in. The downstairs was cool enough. The house is very nice with lots of board games, movies and the boats. The kids enjoyed fishing too. We can hardly wait to go again next summer. I have recommended this home to our friends and family.

AMAZING BEACH HOUSE WITH SCENIC VISTAS

5 of 5
I usually do not write reviews but my experience with the belfast beach house left me compelled. We were coming from Massachusetts and had a reunion with my sister up in canada and Maine was the halfway point for us. We stayed for about a week. The description given to us by the owners was amazing but when we got to the location, the beach house surpassed all expectations. Everything you will or might ever need was present. The property was well-maintained and thoroughly cleaned. The house looked and felt brand new. The games and books selection was superb and you could tell that a lot of thought went in to their selection. They were also well kept and cared for. The beach house was cleaner than most five-star hotels. The decor was amazing. It suited the beach house theme and tied everything in together. The area was spacious and from the covered deck area you could see the full moon glistening over the waters at night. We did run in to slight hot water troubles but the landlords were ready and available to assist at a moments notice and the issue was resolved expediently. The common area in the backyard had a playground which the kids loved and a firepit for a campfire we had one night. Everything was beyond perfect and all the supplies and dishware were abundant. The view from the beach house is to die for. You can walk along the beach although I would not suggest it for swimming as the waters are very rocky. When you drive to wonderview circle, it is a community of beach houses and the belfast beach house was the largest and stood out the most because you could tell that the location and the structure of the building made it the best on the lot. The landlords truly care for making this a best experience for you and it really shows. I would give it ten stars if I could! Definitely visit here!
