Beautiful

5 of 5
Great week, although cold, had some snow, it was great. The house was very cozy, beautiful fireplace kept us warm and we enjoyed making s'mores. The layout of the house was perfect. Scenic view was incredible, overlooking Mooselake, and beautiful mountains. We had visitors everyday (12 deer), which we were able to get deer feed at the local hardware store. Saw 2 moose, turkey, rabbits and red fox, just beautiful. We did enjoy dinner out at Kelly Landing, great food. If you want a place to relax and enjoy the Beauty of nature this is the perfect place for you.

All the amenities!

4 of 5
Great cabin with all the amenities you need. It was great to wake up in the morning and watch the news while drinking coffee that was supplied in the cabin! 5 of us rented it to use as base camp for a snowmobile trip and it is close to ITS 85. We had to flag down the groomer to get directions but once we located it we were pleasently surprised how easy it was to get to. For any potential snowmobilers - Take the Sandy Bay trail and follow for about 1.5 miles until you see a large gravel pit on the right side of the trail. Follow the single track trail to the back right corner of the pit and there is a smalll trail that will take you to the neighborhood where the cabin is located. Take a right on the road unitl you see Virgina Lane. I would definitely rent it again!

Wonderful house in a perfect location!

5 of 5
The house is even nicer than the photos -- spacious, clean, well-equipped, and decorated with country charm. The location is fabulous, only 10 minutes from the shops and restaurants of Greenville, but quiet and secluded with a private dock (with a kayak, which we sadly did not have time to use!) and a lovely neighborhood association beach a short walk away. The owners are gracious and helpful, even suggesting activities for our family based on our children's ages, since we had never visited Moosehead Lake before. We had a great stay and hope to return.
