Maine Dream

5 of 5
This is a wonderful cottage - meticulously clean and comfortable - with everything a couple (or small family) could possibly want. The stairs are somewhat steep so be careful. The owner is extremely helpful if needed but otherwise completely non-obtrusive. The weather cooperated this time and we had a fun time exploring the countryside, State parks, etc., then stopping by the local lobster pound for our dinner! We would love to return to this area and when doing so would definitely rent this cottage again. Loved it!!!!

Perfect Maine-stay!

5 of 5
This cottage is beautiful. It is clean and well appointed. The kitchen is modern and well stocked with all the basics including dishes, pots & pans, flatware, spices and condiments. It is beautifully decorated inside and out. The beds are comfortable and the view from the master bedroom is surpassed only by enjoying the same view on the front covered porch. The village is charming and the mid-coast location offers so many day-trip opportunities, including Camden & Acadia National Park. Couldn't get any better than this. I'm sure I will stay here again. I highly recommend this cottage.

Large and Lovely get-a-way in Bayside

5 of 5
Step back in time to a peaceful gentle and gorgeous venue. Penobscot Bay is across the street. Just a short walk to a sandy cove or rocky beach - tides and shells and sea glass and views spectacular. If you want world class meals visit Belfast (less than ten minute drive). Also find art and history and a real working ship yard. Hike, bike, and kayak for a bit of exercise. The two story house itself is roomy, clean, lovingly maintained and decorated, two bathrooms. The Owner is a delightful, full of interesting stories about the area and world travels and tending to her vegetable and flower gardens. I try to visit at least once a year. A place where your stress begins to fade as soon as you exit onto Shore Road.
